Wisdom For The Day Devotional 22 January 2024 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – You Are Raised To Make Formidable Impact
TOPIC: You Are Raised To Make Formidable Impact (TREM Devotional 22 January 2024)
“And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:” Genesis 12:2 (KJV)
Wisdom For The Day MESSAGE:
Ministry has taken me to different parts of the world. And there is no country that I have entered that I did not intentionally leave a legacy. That is how we should live because we are all called to a life of impact – that is what God expects of every believer. Look at the promise to Abram; it did not stop in making his name great, but he will also be a blessing – that is the goal. God wants you blessed so that you can be a blessing to others.
Impact doesn’t just happen. If you want to make a formidable impact, you must arise and confront every giant challenging the manifestation of your destiny. You must take a stand and take responsibility. David will not allow the sheep given to him to be swallowed by the lions and the bears. He went after them! He said no one would miss. But today, unfortunately, we have a clientele of people who will lose four sheep and still not be bothered. Many people are more consumed by themselves than the assignment that God has committed into their hands, forgetting that fulfilment comes from purposeful impact.
As a leader, what impact are you making in that department? Is the team growing in your hands? Or are you like that person to whom thirty people were given, cannot account for fifteen, and is still unperturbed? Making an impact is something you do intentionally. It does not just happen. Take time to pray, ask God for insight on making a formidable impact, and act on the instructions you receive from Him.
God has blessed you and needs you to be a blessing.
