ERCC DEVOTIONAL (TEKAN) DAILY SPIRITUAL DIET; FRIDAY 19TH JANUARY, 2024. 

TEXT: 1 JOHN 5: 1 - 12.

 

SPIRITUAL FOCUS: LET US BELIEVE IN JESUS, THE SON OF GOD.

John in today's reading assures us that every person who believes JESUS is the MESSIAH, is born of God. And it is true that He came into the world in the form of a human – He has blood, soul and spirit, there is no difference from other human beings in terms of body and character EXCEPT for sin. 

That is, He has never sinned and will never sin, and human beings are inseparable from sin. Thankfully, the Spirit is always testifying that Christ is connected to us through water and blood. The testimony is true because the Spirit, water and blood agree with each other because they are all one. 

So, let's agree to always be with this testimony because it is the greatest for us. Because the Lord God gave this good testimony about His Son when He said. "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased" (Matthew 3: 17). God's testimony is not false like that of men. 

Whoever God will make this kind of testimony on, is a privileged person, and the truth is that His PARADISE is sure. Brothers, let us be part of the Son of God today, otherwise, we will not inherit eternal life. Let us believe in Him so that we will enter the home He is preparing for those who believe in Him.

PRAYER: Oh Lord God, help me to believe in Christ, to trust in Him, in the name of Jesus Christ I am asking, Amen.
