ERCC DEVOTIONAL (TEKAN) DAILY SPIRITUAL DIET; MONDAY 8TH JANUARY, 2024.
TEXT: PSALM 90: 1 - 10.
SPIRITUAL FOCUS: LIFE IS LIKE A FLOWER IN THE DESERT.
There is no doubt at all, King David knew the Lord God very well, because he replied on his grace that he experienced. This is the reason why he said, "O Lord, You are always our dwelling place..." (verse 1). This place gives us a picture of God's understanding.
That is, God is the creator of the world and everything in it. Because of this, there is no tribe that does not know God, let alone ignorance about death. In his analysis, King David confirmed to us that before the beginning, the Lord was there, and there is no end in Him.
But the man He created is like a flower that has an end because everything except God will soon disappear. This statement is certain because from the day when man disobeyed his Creator, God destined death for every man (Heb. 9: 27).
Because of this, brothers and sisters, it is really good to understand that there is an end to life in this world so that we can reconcile ourselves with God before the day comes. Anyone who wants to live an eternal life with God, should do His will with all his heart.
Unfortunately, and sadly,many people have taken the world as if it will last forever. This is a huge error.
Brethren, let us be careful not to be deceived by Satan with worldly desires.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT: The world will end.
PRAYER: O Lord God, teach me to know that my days are numbered in the world in the name of Christ Jesus I am asking, Amen.
