HAPPY NEW MONTH

TEXT: LEVITICUS 10: 1 - 5.

 

SPIRITUAL FOCUS: FOLLOWING THE PATTERN IS REWARDING.

Yesterday we heard that Aaron and his sons offered an offering according to the order given to them by Moses. There is no doubt that every job has conditions and patterns, if these are not followed in detail, there is a danger, that is, the job will not go as required. 

This is the reason why Moses took time to explain to Aaron and his sons how they should work so the Lord will be glorified. He did this because the Lord told him how the Priests should carry out their duties. It's a pity that Nadab and Abihu didn't pay attention to this, so, they offered an offensive offering. 

Therefore, God got angry and sent fire to kill them on the spot. It is very useful to observe the work that God has entrusted to us. No matter how small the work is, God wants us to have FAITH and do it faithfully. Sadly, today there are many ministers of God who are not faithful in their work. 

They are wasting the money of the Church without fear. They are sexually assaulting female members of the Church especially the ladies, even committing abortions without fear of God at all, their conscience is dead. 

Brethren, the called and anointed of God, let us be careful, and take care of the work that has been assigned to us so that we do not incur His wrath and enter His judgment.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: No matter how small the sin, there are consequences.

PRAYER: O Lord God, I am begging You, help me to obey you in my work in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
