ERCC DEVOTIONAL (TEKAN) DAILY SPIRITUAL DIET; TUESDAY 30TH JANUARY, 2024.
TEXT: LEVITICUS 8: 26 - 36.
SPIRITUAL FOCUS: A YEAST-FREE DIET..
In yesterday's study, we heard how Aaron and his sons were set apart because of the work of the specific assignment, that is, offering sacrifices to God. Sacrifice is an important thing before God, that is the kind of the kind of relationship between him and his people.
There are different kinds of sacrifices. Yesterday we saw that Aaron and his sons were purified. But before they started work, they spend several days sitting in the tent and fellowshipping with the Lord. This taught us, especially those who serve, to take time to separate yourself before God.
Failure to do so will make their service ineffective. In the life of Jesus when he was here on earth, he took the saying of isolating himself ALONE very important. This is what monsters should do to seek God's will for everything they do.
When Aaron had separated himself, a bowl of unleavened food was placed in his hand. Of course, the ministers need to separate themselves because the Lord has placed in their hands what He wants them to feed their people with.
Only in the presence of God will you find the real unleavened food that God's people need for spiritual growth.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Sin will prevent us from doing God's will.
PRAYER: Lord, thank You for giving us servants. Fill them with wisdom and the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen
