ERCC DEVOTIONAL (TEKAN) DAILY SPIRITUAL DIET; WEDNESDAY 17TH JANUARY, 2024

TEXT: 1 JOHN 4: 1 - 6.

 

SPIRITUAL FOCUS: FALSE SPIRITS ARE UNDER US.

The apostle John warned us about the issue of love. Today he warns us not to accept the perverted teachings of evil spirits that are emerging in this age that are not according to the Word of God. 

Brothers and sisters, let us not forget that God's Word is clear, we should not believe every SPIRIT that comes to us, without being sure of its truth. It is important that we do this because there are many false prophets that have come into the world. 

For this reason, let us watch, be calm and careful with them because the Spirit of God alone testifies that Christ Jesus came to earth in the BODY. The testimony is true. Any spirit that does not WITNESS this, is not the true Spirit of God. 

Because the traitors, and these false prophets often take on the forms of godly worship, as if they themselves are followers of Christ, but they are deny the authority of Christ. This is the reason why Timothy advises us to distance ourselves from such prophets (2 Timothy 3: 5). 

It is good to thank God because today and forever the Holy Spirit who lives in us guides us. This Holy Spirit is more powerful than the lying spirits, through Him we overcome lies. We should rely on the power of God.

PRAYER: Oh Lord God, I am begging You, give me victory over all evil spirits in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
