ERCC DEVOTIONAL (TEKAN) DAILY SPIRITUAL DIET; WEDNESDAY 10TH JANUARY, 2024.

TEXT: PSALM 95: 1 - 11.

 

SPIRITUAL FOCUS: PRAISE AND GLORY BELONGS TO GOD.

Today, King David in our study, sang a beautiful song of praise to the Lord. He called all those who fear God to stand up and sing to Him because of the blessings He lavished on them in different ways and forms. 

Because of this, brothers and sisters like David, we should always be singing songs of praise. He is the Great King. If we know this, then it is good to go to Him with joy and trembling because of His dignity. It is a pity that today there are many followers of Christ who do not recognize the greatness of God. 

Because of their ignorance, they do what they want with their wealth and their bodies. This is wrong. Brothers and sisters, we should pay attention to how we come before the Lord to worship. In other words, we should come reverently because God is a terrible God. 

Let's worship Him, bow down,, and be close to Him. Unfortunately, today there are many followers who come to worship God without paying attention to the clothes they wear. They come with clothes that do not bring glory to God. Some women by their dressing say, "look at my WAIST, my breasts, my buttocks, my belly," etc. 

Some young men wear TROUSERS which are lowered at their buttocks as if they are not wearing anything. Oh brethren!!!

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Let's honor the Lord with trembling.

PRAYER: Lord God, I am asking You to help me, that I may worship You in spirit and in truth, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
