ERCC DEVOTIONAL (TEKAN) DAILY SPIRITUAL DIET WEDNESDAY 3RD JANUARY, 2024

TEXT: PSALM 78: 52 - 62

SPIRITUAL FOCUS: GOD IS OUR GUIDE.

Today's study shows us how God led the children of Israel from Egypt to the Promised Land. He drove out all the nations that were before them. He fed them with the food of angels and gave them water from the mountain. In spite of these, the children of Israel even in the Promised land continued to live in lack of faith and disobedience. Therefore, God was not pleased with them and punished them. Let's note that, not only the children of Israei have thes attitude. Even today, there are many followers of Christ who do not differ from the behavior of the Israelites. Despite the suffering that the Lord Jesus went through on the cross because of them; and His constant care towards them, they remained stubbom and disobedient to Him. Brothers, we should not doubt God's power by becoming clients of sorcerers witchdoctors and associates with members of Secret Societies. Let us know that all those who have these characteristics, God will judge them. But gave them the opportunity to enter this new year so they can change th fives. This is a great opportunity for them to settle their affairs with h Brother, don't let the world deceive you with its desires. It is good to kn that God is the good SHEPHERD, He will guide us in this new year if remain steadfast to Him. 

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Give your heart to the Lord to avoid suffering.
