American Pastor Tony Evans Weds Carla Crummie In A Private Ceremony
Pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, Tony Evans and Dr Carla Crummie have both finnaly tied the knot as they wed in a private ceremony.
The clergyman’s wedding which was held privately, after four years after the death of his first wife, Lois Evans, consisted of just family members, and close friends.
“As we enter the celebratory Christmas season, we also celebrate the marriage announcement of our senior Pastor and his bride, Mrs. Carla Evans,” said Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship on Facebook.
“Marriage is a blessing from God, and it brings us great joy to see our pastor blessed in this beautiful way.
“After entering into their union in a private ceremony surrounded by family and close friends, the couple is excited to continue serving the Lord together, supported by faith, love, and the prayers of our church family.”
You’d recall that the clergyman announced his engagement and asked church members for prayers.
“As I come up to the fourth year of the loss of Lois, my wife of 49-and-a-half-years, it is a tender time. There are reminders everywhere of her life and her influence on me, my family, and this ministry,” Evans said.
“As I’ve tried to share the ups and downs of my life with you,” he added, “I wanted to share this and give you the opportunity to meet my new fiancée, Miss Carla Crummie,” he continued.
