ERCC DEVOTIONAL (TEKAN) DAILY SPIRITUAL DIET; MONDAY 30TH OCTOBER, 2023
TEXT: ROMANS 1: 17.
SPIRITUAL FOCUS: WE ARE JUSTIFIED BY FAITH.
In the history of the Church, today is a significant day, the day that Martin Luther pasted 95 arguments at the door of Watberg Church. The Word of God is the basis of the fact that "everyone who is righteous will live by faith" (vs. 19).
The apostle Paul says that the Gospel is not a shame because it brings change to everyone's life, to believe in Christ Jesus. It is the way of righteousness, that is, faith before God. In fact, unrighteousness and wickedness make the Lord very angry and infuriated, because we do not follow Him properly.
Therefore, it is good to avoid all evil so that we do not fall into the wrath of the Lord. There are many followers of Christ today who do not understand this.
They are mocking God's grace and doing evil deeds that do not glorify the Lord God. The death of Christ Jesus on the cross sets us privileged. Brothers and sisters, this is enough for us to dishonor Him. In life, let us shine, let us do good deeds so that the world may see our good works and glorify our God in heaven.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT: The blood of Christ Jesus saves us.
PRAYER: Lord God, I beseech You, increase my understanding of the truth of Your Word, and help me believe in Your Deity in the name of Christ Jesus, Amen.
ROMANS 1: 17
1 God's way of putting people right shows up in the acts of faith, confirming what Scripture has said all along: "The person in right standing before God by trusting him really lives."
