SPIRITUAL FOCUS: THE BRIDE PRAISES HER GROOM.
At yesterday's reading the groom was praising his bride, using some heartwarming words. This is what should be found in the followers of Christ. That is, we should glorify Him with all our hearts. Today in our reading, the bride repeats a statement that shows how they see, love and respect each other. This is a great lesson for all couples.
Everything they say to each other shows the kind of love they have for each other, if not verbally. For the bride, the bridegroom is the bridegroom, even though he is in darkness (vs. 10). Whenever we show love to one another, we need to be careful and tell the truth so that it does not become a cause for stumbling. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another. We must not allow the way we live our lives to judged by the Lord.
Let us pay attention to the words we use, to the glory of the Lord, not to those who despise His name, to Him who are meaningful to Him, and to our hearts not to be alienated from Him (Isa. 29: 13).
Whatever we do or teach in life that does not glorify Him, we should not do or stay. Even the love we show with our mouths, should be so that people will give God glory. Therefore, it is good to do everything that pleases the Lord.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT: God's love is infinite.
PRAYER: Lord God, I beseech Thee, take away from me the evil, in the name, Jesus, Amen.

10 My beloved is radiant and ruddy, distinguished among ten thousand.
11 His head is the finest gold; his locks are wavy, black as a raven.
12 His eyes are like doves beside streams of water, bathed in milk, sitting beside a full pool.
13 His cheeks are like beds of spices, mounds of sweet-smelling herbs. His lips are lilies, dripping liquid myrrh.
14 His arms are rods of gold, set with jewels. His body is polished ivory, bedecked with sapphires.
15 His legs are alabaster columns, set on bases of gold. His appearance is like Lebanon, choice as the cedars.
16 His mouth is most sweet, and he is altogether desirable. This is my beloved and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.
